| خلاصه مقاله | Bispecific antibodies (bsAbs) are newly designed therapies with the potential to bind to two disparate antigens or epitopes simultaneously with enhanced flexibility for complex diseases. Molecular engineering, recombinant technology, and computer-aided design have facilitated the construction of stable, selective, and potent bsAb platforms. Oncology bsAbs interact with tumors by redirecting immune effector cells and by inhibiting multiple signal mechanisms and resistances. In non-oncology diseases, they have promising potential in infectious diseases and autoimmune diseases, where dual targeting provides better specificity and efficacy. However, bsAbs are encountering problems with design, production, pharmacokinetics, and clinical translation. Progresses on platforms like DuoBody and CrossMab and incorporation into precision medicine and combinations are resolving these obstacles. This paper is a complete overview of bsAb basics, design strategies, applications, issues, and perspectives and continues their increasing status as next-gen patient-specific therapeutics in biotechnology. |
