| خلاصه مقاله | BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVES: Central oxygen is one of the vital parts of the hospital that is responsible for supplying oxygen. Any defect in it can cause a lot of damage. In times like epidemics like flu and covid 19 when patients need oxygen more than other diseases. One of the main duties of the senior managers of hospitals and medical centers is to provide the oxygen needed by patients in any condition. MATERIALS AND METHODS: This study reports on the lack of oxygen in the Hojjat Koh Kemari Hospital in Marand during the peak of the Covid-19 epidemic, which due to the high consumption of oxygen in the special and emergency departments with a sharp drop in oxygen in the hospital and the unavailability of the raw material, the hospital with a shortage Oxygen encountered. Immediately, a crisis meeting was held and with the coordination of the senior managers of the health and treatment network and the hospital manager, the governor was informed. A public summons order was given to the unions of the city to deliver oxygen capsules to the hospital. which was accompanied by the public's welcome and participation, so that many capsules were delivered to the hospital in less than half a day, and this relieved the patients' need for oxygen and saved the lives of many patients RESULTS AND DISCUSSION: Incidents related to hospital central oxygen, including oxygen leakage, explosion and fire, and non-optimal use may occur. Despite increasing safety and preventing accidents, increasing public participation and cooperation of senior city officials is one of the main principles in crisis management. |
