| خلاصه مقاله | Background To date, the application of laser irradiation has been extended in human regenerative medicine for the inhibition of tumor cell growth and alleviation of healing process. Here, the putative role of photomodulation was debated in stem cell biology and their therapeutic properties. Methods Different studies have applied different laser types for the regulation of stem cell growth, migration, differentiation, and release of several cytokines, and growth factors in in vitro and in vivo conditions. Exosomes are nano-sized vesicles with the potential to harbor several signaling molecules. These vesicles are interchanged between the donor and recipient cells. Results It has been shown that laser irradiation can modulate the biogenesis and abscission of exosome biogenesis machinery. Based on the intensity of laser irradiation, both cytocompatibile and cytotoxic effects can be achieved which per se influences the production of biogenesis and cargo sorting. Conclusions Laser irradiation is an alternative and co-adjuvant therapy for several pathologies in human clinical setting. However, several investigations are mandatory to elucidate the exact therapeutic roles under several in vitro and in vivo conditions |
