The inappropriate assessment of faculty members' medical and educational activities compared to their research pursuits indicates the absence of an efficient assessment system to measure these activities qualitatively. The current assessment system does not differentiate between physicians who use EBM and those who do not. Moreover, the evidence-based structure must be present in all dimensions of the health system to assist health providers in employing the most authentic evidence in their decision-making processes. |
