| خلاصه مقاله | Natural menopause is usually happening at the age of 49-52 years in women. This natural phenomenon may be affected by some negative factors and cause fundamental problems such as premature menopause (in early ages: 20, 30, and 40) and ovarian disorders. In these cases, ovaries are producing less estrogen and it may cause female infertility. These disorders may be caused by chemotherapy or radiotherapy, autoimmune disorders also it can be idiopathic. There are several methods to treat patients who suffer from infertility and ovarian disorders, but recently tissue engineering and stem cell therapy offer novel opportunities for treating female infertility and ovarian disorders. The purpose of this study is to discuss the beneficial effects of stem cell therapy as a most trending strategy, and tissue engineering for the rehabilitation of fertility. Based on studies, stem cells could regenerate tissues and organs, so in ovarian tissues, stem cells could accelerate ovarian tissues renovation and levels of sex-related hormones, improve ovarian angiogenesis, prevent GC apoptosis, increase follicular activation, and eventually enhance fertility rate. And also several animal studies have confirmed an extensive advantage of stem cells for recovering failed ovaries. In order to studies, we expect that using stem cells in cell therapy, tissue engineering, and regenerative medicine may provide possible therapeutic options for ovarian disorders and fertility preservation. There are a lot of stem cells sources known for this kind of therapy involves 1) ADSCs are identified to improve the inflexibility of GCs and theca cells, resulting in an ideal atmosphere for folliculogenesis. 2) Oogonial stem cells, are spherical or ovoid and exist in the cortex of the ovary and their identification marker is DDX4 antibody. 3) Populations of PBMC, contain numerous multipotent progenitor cells and have the capability to return organ function and tissue regeneration. |
