| خلاصه مقاله | Background and Aim : The lower urinary tract symptom due to prostatitis is a common condition, especially in the young males. In these diseases besides its symptom and signs, and physical exam finding the Para clinic evaluation especially the EPS liquid is important for diagnosis. We studied the EPS liquid in the 60 patients with the LUTS symptoms and were suspicious to the none bacterial prostatitis. Methods : Methods: 100patients with the lower urinary tract symptom in the ages, between 25 –40 years were evaluated by a digital rectal exam, urine analysis, and the EPS (express prostate secretion) liquid, and the ultrasound examination(US). During the digital rectal exam, the EPS liquid samples were taken and evaluated directly with a microscopic for white blood cell count in every high power field in it Results : Results: In the rectal exam palpable of the prostate associated with the pain, the white blood cells count in the EPS liquids in a direct exam by the microscopic were between 0-3 in the high power field, the ultrasound examinations of the prostate were revealed a calcification in the one-third of patients.Conclusion : Conclusions: The result of this investigation is a different finding to the other studies, the definition of prostatitis microscopically is described as to be more than 10 white blood cells in high power field in EPS liquid, according to our finding a revision is necessary for the definition of the diagnosis of prostatitis microscopically in the EPS liquid. |
