| خلاصه مقاله | Background : The radiomics features may be affected by ultrasound imaging scan parameters. Therefore, the aim of this study is to figure out the robust and stable radiomics features to differentiate various echogenic objects in different ultrasound scan settings and parameters. Material and method: Ultrasound (US) images were carried out from GAMMEX phantom in eleven random scan setting and parameters. The regions of interest (ROIs) were manually delineated around hyperechoic, hypoechoic, isoechoic (background) objects of the GAMMEX phantom. 40 textural radiomics features were extracted from each ROI. The discrimination performance of the features across three echogenic objects (hyper- , hypo- , and isoechoic objects) was assessed by the nonparametric Mann-Whitney U test with P<0.05. Results: Even in different ultrasound scan parameters, 10 of 40 radiomics features significantly differentiated hypoechoic from the isoechoic objects, and 15 of 40 radiomics features significantly differentiated for hyperechoic from the isoechoic objects. Conclusion: In summary, we concluded that in ultrasound imaging, even in different scan settings and parameters, several robust textural radiomics features may be found that are stable in various scan settings, as well as can differentiate various echogenic objects. |
