| The aim of this study was to test the cytotoxicity effects of chitosan/curcumin nanogels to human gingival fibroblasts cells. Cytotoxicity were determined by metabolic reduction of a tetrazolium salt to a formazan dye (MTT assay). The results showed a significant proliferative effects of chitosan/curcumin nanogels on human gingival fibroblasts cells. In this case, the prepared nanogel can be used as a biomaterial in periodontal health problems. |
