| خلاصه مقاله | Background : Culture is a broad concept that includes the social values and norms of human societies as well as the knowledge, beliefs, arts, laws, customs, abilities, and habits of individuals in these groups. Due to the emergence and novelty of Covid-19 infectious disease, accurate and complete information about its psychosocial problems is not available, so the importance of reviewing and presenting comprehensive programs based on community culture is absolutely essential.
Methods : In this overview study, articles using such keywords as Community Culture, Covid-19, Social Stigma, Coronavirus published between 2019 to 2020 have been searched for and studied, using such search engines like Scopus, Google Scholar, SID, Mag Iran, IranMedex, PubMed and etc., from among which 13 articles have been selected based on the research objective
Results : Recent studies of people with a history of Covid-19 have shown countless emotional outcomes including: stress, depression, irritability, insomnia, fear, confusion, social stigma, anger, frustration, and quarantine-related boredom. In addition to the physical effects of this unknown infectious disease, individuals also experience widespread psychological effects of the disease, including social stigma, discrimination, and other psychosocial aspects of the disease, regardless of the prevailing social culture of the communities in question. Providing comprehensive programs to address these issues is not the result of Covid-19. Rejection, verbal abuse (inappropriate words) and violent behavior before and after quarantine are directly related to the prevailing culture in that society. If misconceptions such as the social stigma caused by Covid-19 are corrected and removed from the culture of society, the discriminatory view of the person with the disease will be eliminated and the possibility of using care facilities for exposed or affected people will be provided and the possibility of investigation Accurate disease and treatment will occur for all members of society, so it is very necessary and necessary to take a comprehensive approach to address the challenge of cultural orthodoxy and misconceptions about this disease in society and at all levels of individual, social and organizational should be considered.
