| We have read the article entitled “An erratum about the ancestral origin of Abu Al Husain Ibn Abdullah Ibn Sina,” by Zahid Hussain Khan, Milad Minagar, Mohammad Dehghan Tezerjani, and Seyed Amir H. Javadi published in The World Neurosurgery (Available online 19 December 2019).1 We want to congratulate the authors for this successful review article, and make some contributions.
The authors of the article understand the importance of the subject well, but it should be noted that Avicenna became popular through a cultural process in which many physicians whose native language was Persian wrote in Arabic. |
