| خلاصه مقاله | Abstract : Ibn al-Jazzar can be considered as the first Muslim physician. He has compiled many books in medical science in North Africa. He has accessed to works of ancient Greek and used them to compile over forty books and made them more productive by his own experiences. His works has been used by famous Muslim physicians like Razi‚ Ibn Sina. His works has been translated to Latin and Greek in later years. His most famous work is zad Almosafer that it has become very important in Europe as by its translation to Latin for first time the medical information of ancient Greeks returned to Europe. He also has written the‚ for the poor who could not be able to reach to any doctor or medicine because of poverty. It has been said that he did not get any money from the poor. He has trained many disciples and the most famous of them was Aboohefz Ibn Tarig Andalusia a physician in Kairouan the city in Tunisia. He has brought zad Almosafer to Andalus and Muslim‚ Jewish and Christian doctors used it. He has believed that medicine does not make any one perfect unless three things are gathered in him: Master of skill‚ Greedy‚ Intelligence. |
