| خلاصه مقاله | Introduction:Women's participation in health programs, in addition to health promotion, will also be effective in increasing self-confidence, empowerment and improving the health of women. The aim of this study was to determine perceived facilitators and barriers using the experiences of female health volunteers and program officials.
Material and Methods: This qualitative study was conducted in Tabriz, Iran. Data were collected from two focus groups and 29 individual, semi-structured interviews. Content analysis was used to identify themes emerging from the interview data by MAXQDA 12 Software.
Results:Barriers to active participation of Health Volunteers related to 'Inadequate volunteers / trainers', 'Inadequate volunteers' acceptance,' Social deterrence norms 'and' Organizational problems '. Facilitators of active participation of Health Volunteers were 'Improvement of Organizational Performance' and 'Capacity Building'.
Conclusions:Considering the problems and solutions expressed, increasing the capabilities of health volunteers, Active volunteer participation development and Enhancing public participation should be highlighted in the health system. |
