| خلاصه مقاله | Abstract Farmers use a large number of pesticides to control pest and diseases which damage their plants. The presence of pesticide residues in the vegetable and lettuce are important concern not only for consumers, but also for the Iranian regulatory authorities, due to popular use of vegetables and lettuce in daily meal of Iranian. To determine residual amounts of pesticides in the vegetable and lettuce we used a rapid, specific and sensitive multipurpose method based on the modified Quick Easy Cheap Effective Rugged and Safe (QuEChERS) sample preparation and gas chromatography with electron mass spectrophotometer. In this method based on ion monitoring mode (GC–MS-SIM) one or two qualified ions were selected for routine analysis of 105 pesticides in vegetables and lettuce. The recovery method for all studied pesticides was from 75.6% to 89.5% and in the concentration range of 0.002–0.15 mg/kg. This method was successfully used for analysis of remaining pesticides in supplied vegetables and lettuce in the fruit and vegetable markets. In comparison with limit allowed of National Standards Organization, our results showed that 5.71% and 10% of unwashed vegetables and lettuce respectively were rejected from the point of remaining pesticides. The Iprodine, Kersoxim-methyl and Diazinon toxins were the main residual pesticides in the rejected samples. By consideration of the carence period of each pesticide and proper cleaning of agricultural products we can minimize the residue of pesticides and reduce their health risks. |
