| خلاصه مقاله | Tabrizicola aquatica is a novel alphaproteobacterium isolated from Qurugöl Lake nearby Tabriz city, Iran. Cells are Gram-negative, rod shaped and facultatively anaerobic. The bacterium grew chemoorganoheterotrophically [pyruvate (0.3 %w/v), Glucose] and chemolithoautotrophically [Na2S2O3 (0.5Mm), NaHCO3 (0.1 %w/v)]. In this study we evaluated bacterial growth on various modified media. [marine medium, Pffennig medium and modified basal medium for bacterial reduction of Fe-citrate] . In order to determine minimum growth condition, we consider the effect of different culture media compositions on bacterial growth and the utilization of organic and inorganic compound in both aerobic and anaerobic medium was also investigated. Results showed that the bacterium was able to grow without [sulphate, nitrate, phosphate] but growth rate would slow down in all examination. On the other hand, Bacterial growth was not depended on metals such as Fe, Mg and Sr. but result showed that Calcium was an essential element for bacterium and growth was not observed without it. According to these results strain RCRI19 can grow aerobically in the presence of [Na2S2O3 (0.5mM), NaHCO3 (0.1 %w/v), CaCl2 (0.025) %w/v]. Oxygen was also replaced by (50 mmol Fe3+) in modified basal medium for Fe reduction. Ferrous and Ferric were measured by 1, 10-phenanthroline in 510 nm in order to examine the iron bioreduction and ability of bacterium to tolerance and co-exist with metals via both aerobic and anaerobic respiration. |
