| خلاصه مقاله | the incidence of primary brain tumors is increasing rapidly . gliomas and primary CNS lymphoma are the most common primary brain tumors in the united states and accounted for 2% of adult tumors. glioblastoma multiform is the most common primnary brain tumors. surgery is bonestoone treatment but adjunctive treatments such as radiotherapy and chemotherapy have improved survival of patients with high tumors. radiotherapy after surgery reduced local failure, delayed in tumor progression, and increasied patient s survival . the tecniques of radiotherapy have evolved over the time and availble tratments include two - dimensional , tree dimensional, VMAT,SRS,IMRTand tomotherapy . new conformal treatments based on the sophisticated images can save normal tissues from radiation damages. each radiotherapy methodes have their own advantages and dis advantages. |
